Dollmore proudly introduces a resin eye base (sclera) designed for DIY eye makers.
This product includes the white sclera base only.
The iris and clear dome layer are intended to be created by the artist, making this a DIY-focused product for those who enjoy customizing their own eyes.
This innovative resin eye base was developed from the owner’s personal eye-making method and refined into a new, simplified concept.
You can paint the inside of the eye using acrylic paint, watercolor, oil paint, or any other preferred medium.
You may also embed flowers, nail art materials, paper, fabric, glitter, and more, then layer with clear resin to create unique and artistic effects.
The interior is designed with a subtle raised dome to allow pupil placement.
You may:
- Paint directly onto the dome to create a pupil
- Place beads or small decorative elements to achieve dimensional pupil effects
The dome height is moderate, allowing flexibility for:

** Basic Guide to Eye Making
1. Prepare your eye bases and materials for iris design.
2. Apply paint or tinted resin inside the sclera (iris area).
3. Layer clear resin multiple times, adding decorative materials as desired.
4 .To remove air bubbles, gently pass a lighter flame over the surface.
5. Cure intermittently under sunlight or a UV lamp (1–2 minutes).
6. After filling halfway, use only clear resin to build depth and transparency.
7. Finish by applying multiple layers of UV gloss coating for a high-gloss surface.
